Why WordPress?

WordPress is what is known as a Content Management System or CMS.

What does this mean for your business?

This means you can have a robust, responsive, mobile friendly website up much faster than having a developer code the whole thing. This means less development time and thus less expense for your business. Furthermore, with WordPress, I can train you to update your website yourself! This means that you pay once and you’re done. However, if you would prefer that I manage and take care of your website for you, I also offer that service at a much cheaper rate than most experienced developers.

Why am I cheaper?

WordPress meets or exceeds the needs of the majority of small businesses, all the while taking out a lot of grunt work. However, I still have all the web development skills needed to make custom applications if necessary. But for most small businesses, everything you need is built right into WordPress.

How much are we talking?

I can register your domain (provided it’s available), setup hosting, install WordPress, and do basic theme customization all for $350. In addition to my labor costs, you will need to pay for domain registration (typically under $15/year) and for the hosting (typically under $5/month). If you want me to continue to run your site, I generally charge $35/hour as my services are needed for freelance work. Remember, that’s all you pay, as a freelancer, you are not responsible for any insurances, taxes, or other overhead associated with a regular employee.

What if I’m not happy?

I want you to be happy and spread the good word about me. However, if we are simply not on the same page, I provide a 90 day guarantee in which you can revoke your rights to use any of the work I have done on your website in exchange for a FULL REFUND of my labor costs. You retain ownership of your domain and can continue with the next developer.
